Other News and Notes

Course Syllabus and Class Expectation - Please be sure that you have sent your course syllabus and class expectations into your evaluator or main office so that we have them available in our offices. As we begin to settle into the academic year it is critical to our support of your work that we have your syllabus and expectations. 

Back to School Night - Our Back to School Night is scheduled for Thursday, 9/23.  We will begin our night with an opening session in the gym at 6:30 pm and then release parents from there. We will be sending a Phone Messenger notice home on Monday or Tuesday night of this week to remind parents. We will also work with 5th period classes to get our back to school information out. Back to school information will be in your boxes Wednesday morning. It is important that all 5th period student get the parent information and are reminded to take the information home to their parents.

A couple reminders about back to school. Please have the following available for parents:

3. Homework procedures and expectations
4. Contact information

Back to school time is not the place to have individual conversations about students. We remind parents about this but somehow a few miss it. Please ask parents to email or call you for an appointment about individual concerns. The administrators will be around and in classrooms throughout the evening to help with issues.
