Other News and Notes
Faculty Meeting - Our regularly scheduled monthly faculty meeting is scheduled of Wednesday, 3/3. We will be meeting in the Library at 7:30 am. The main topic for this month is our upcoming High School Proficiency Exam (HSPE). James will be leading the training for this new assessment which replaces the WASL. It is critical everyone is connected to the work of preparing our students for this state required assessment.
IPR Window Opens and Grades Due - The IPR window opens Monday, 3/1. Any assignment that is to be included in this grading period must have a due date of 3/1 or earlier. Grades are due by Thursday, 3/4 at the end of the school day. Please be sure to post and publish all your grades on time. We will be sending a message by phone to all parents about grades being available online by Friday. We will not be mailing any IPR's home this time. Also, please post grades in your classroom. This quarter we are going "green" and as a result will be asking all parents to check online for grades, newsletters, and all communications. Please help us by keeping your grades accurate and up to date by posting at least every two weeks to the TAC and resulting HAC system
LIC meetings this Month - We only have three Wednesdays available this month for use in our Learning Improvement Calendar. As a result, here is our schedule for Wednesday LIC this month:
Class Overload Forms - Kathleen Heckman sent out the e-version of the "Student Workload" form. It is based on students in your classes as of March 1, 2010. Please complete the form and return the form to Kim in the main office. We will process the form and get them to ESC. The total student number will be verified by the number in TAC.
March Gladness Celebration - We will be celebrating March Gladness through a series of dress up days this week. Help by encouraging the students and join in as well if you so desire. Here is a list of our days:
