Other News and Notes

IPR Due - The next IPR is coming due next week. All grades must be posted before you leave on Wednesday, 12/16. Remember this is the last IPR prior to the end of a semester. As a result, we need to contact the parents of all students who are failing classes at this time. Even is students are in jeopardy of failing a class. Please do not use this as a "wake up" call and fail student just to get their attenion. The email function in the new grading system is a great option but not all homes have email. Keep some kind of record of your home contact.

Canned Food Drive - The canned food drive continues through Wednesday, 12/16. The competition is heating up. Please do what you can to help with this effort. There truly does exist a need this year. If you have any questions contact James, Janet, or Rick

Winter Wishes - If you are aware of any special circumstances within the faculty or student body we need to address through Winter Wishes please send those "wishes" to Scott Brittain by this Friday, 12/11. We really do want to make miracles happen but can not without knowing about them.

Building Alarm Issues - Please remember to check the alarm prior to entering the building on weekends. Contrary to the popular myth we really do have an alarm and use it. On more than one occasion the report written has stated that faculty believe there is no alarm or they have been told it is not used. Check with someone in the main office for the code.
