Other News and Notes

IPR and Grades Due this Week - Grades are due this week for the final IPR prior the semester grade in January. The IPR window is shorter but we have been telling everyone about it for a couple of weeks now so hopefully we are in good shape. The reason for the short window is to help with the whole issue of when the assignments have to be entered in order to be included. The window for updating the IPR is two days. Here are the details:

1. Grades due by the end of the day on Wednesday, 12/16
2. The IPR Window opens on Tuesday, 12/15
3. To be included in this IPR all assignments must have a date of 12/15 or earlier entered into TAC
4. Please add comments for improvement to any student getting less than a "C" in class
   
5. Please post current grades by Thursday for students
6. Contact parents of all failing students or in danger of failing at the semester

We will be sending progress reports home with students on Friday, 12/18. We will distribute these sometime in the morning on Friday as we have the Winter Wishes assembly in the afternoon.

Winter Building Hours - Please check the alarm prior to entering the building over the winter break. Do not assume the alarm is off. The custodians will be here during some of the days over the break but not all. If you do not have the alarm code please check with one of the administrators prior to leaving for break.

Faculty Soup Tuesday - The admin team will be hosting lunch on Tuesday, 12/15. As usual, homemade soups are on the menu. Please plan on stopping by and having a warm bowl of soup for lunch. We are hoping to be in the Library but if it is booked with classes we will be in the faculty room. We will get an email out with exact location.

Winter Wishes Assembly - Our annual Winter Wishes assembly is scheduled for this Friday, 12/18. Karey put a bell schedule out to everyone. The assembly will be in the gym and is schedule for the afternoon right after 5th period.
