Other News and Notes

Student Led Conferences - Student Led Conferences are scheduled for this week. Wednesday and Thursday, 2/27 & 28, of this week will be early dismissals for all students. We will dismiss students at 10:45 am so that lunches can be served and staff can prepare for their conferences. Conferences with parents should be scheduled throughout the rest of the day. The faculty room is set up as break from for faculty. Dinner will be available after 5:00 pm in the Faculty Room. Here are a couple of reminders for this Wednesday and Thursday:
  1. Every student is expected to complete a student led conference
  2. The conference is a conversation between the parent and the student. We need only act as facilitators.
  3. Please have printed copies of all Student Learning Plans for those students on your list requiring one. It is important that we keep a signed copy of the SLP.
  4. You are allowed to host multiple conferences at one time. Only do this if you have well prepared students.
  5. Off Campus lunch passes are available for those students who complete their assigned conference on time.
A lot of work has gone into this upcoming two days. Please let one of the administrators know if you need anything prior to conference days!

State Basketball Tournament - Congratulations to the girls basketball tournament. The girls beat Foss on Friday night to gain an entry into the state tournament. They open on Wednesday at 7:00 pm. We do not expect any disruption to the school schedule on Wednesday but certainly there will be some students who will wish to reschedule their Wednesday SLC. Please work with students as needed to support them
