Other News and Notes
Progress Reports - As we mentioned before, we are transitioning to a "paperless" progress report. In order to do so it is critical that every teacher have their grades posted on line by the end of this week. We will be using our School Messenger phone system to remind parents to check either Home Access or SWIFT for their son or daughters current academic progress. Here are a couple of givens and reminders:

Givens:
  1. All attendance must be recorded in Teacher Access Center
  2. Grades must be available online either through Teacher Access Center or SWIFT by the end of this week
  3. Updates to grades should be made on a "regular" basis (every two weeks)
Reminders:
  1. If you are still having difficulty getting grades posted online please contact an administrator so we can help you get started.
  2. Margaret Grieve Fent is our Building Computer Liason. Contact her also with questions.
  3. Several teachers have volunteered to help with TAC. Let us know if you need assistance.
  4. Erika Flattum from ITC will be here on Thursday during all Lunches to answer question you may have
Holiday Social - Stacy Jeffers has volunteered to host this staff social this year at her house. If you recall, she had everything ready last year and we got stormed out. The social is scheduled for this Friday, 12/21 at the Jeffers house. It is a great chance to put your shopping off for a few more hours since some of us haven't started anyway. More to come....

Christmas Music - Just a reminder, be sensitive to the students and staff around you. Listening to music is one thing but imposing your music and "Christmas" spirit on others can sometimes be a bit out of line. Please just be sensitive to those around you. Make this the best time of the year for everyone.
