Other News and Notes

Thanksgiving Break - If you are planning on coming in over the break, please check the alarm in the main office. The break is a four day weekend for everyone so no promises on whether the alarm is off or not. If the red light is on outside the main office, please be sure to deactivate the alarm panel inside the main office door.

Home Access - Home Access Center goes online this morning at 8:00 am. We will be walking around screen prints of what parents are able to see from home. I know it has been a rocky transition from first to second quarter grades. I am trying to schedule a meeting with the ITC folks to see about what we can do to help with some of the issues.

Arena Conferences - We were originally scheduled to have arena conferences for this week. We have rescheduled our conferences for next week, Thursday, 11/29. We will be meeting parents in the commons from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. At that time we expect to meet with parents and discuss academic progress to date and what students need to do to improve prior to the end of the semester. We will be hosting a Home Access Center tutorial for parents that evening to help them logon to the Center. We originally thought we could move away from arena conferencing but felt we need to stay with it based on faculty input from last year.
