Other News and Notes

Events of this Week - Lots has happened this week and we certainly could focus on what went wrong over the past week or so. We could go all the way back and try to make sense of it but that will not do much good now. Maybe the best thing to do is focus on those things we did well and take pride in the fact through it all we still work at a great school and work with great students and staff.

Good Things

  • Our students demonstrated great courage both by turning in the names of students who were plotting against the school as well as stepping up and being here with us through this issue.
  • Staff members throughout our entire campus who stepped up and were willing to do whatever it took to help and provide for other staff, students, and our school.
  • The working relationship that continues to develop between Pierce County Sheriff's Department and Rogers High School.
  • For the most part, once our parents knew what was happening they were very supportive of all we were doing to provide for their children.
  • The flexibility of students and staff through this entire event.
