Re-Keying of the High School - While there has been a delay in the rekeying process it seems things have started up again. The district has delivered the new keys to our building. Nancy and Diane are in the process of getting all the keys organized and ready to be handed out. Here is the process for getting new keys to faculty.

• New keys will be ready by next Wednesday in the afternoon, 4/26
• Teachers will need to sign a new key card for the keys
• Please keep your old keys as we will not be changing the locks over for another week or so
• At this point the building will be rekeyed back to the way it was prior to the breakin

We eventually will be moving to a card access style of entry at the main office door. We are not quite sure when or how that will look so we will keep you informed. There will be some access changes. One of the biggest things you will notice is the lack of "Master Keys" available. I know that may be an issue with the number of keys you will need to carry but losing keys and rekeying the building will no longer be financially possible so we need to come up with a way to reduce our liability towards that.

We will begin the process of changing locks on or about May 1. The contractor hired to do this work will be working a swing shift and it should take about a week.

Department Chair Meeting - There is a department chair meeting scheduled for Tuesday, 4/18, at 2:30 pm in room C-243. We have a number of important items on the agenda so please make arrangements to be there or have someone from your department there.

Master Schedule Update - We are to the point of cleaning up our simple tally numbers in the master schedule. We will begin the process of scheduling meetings with each department to discuss sections for next fall. The admin team will be contacting the departments sometime next week to schedule meetings for the first week of May. We do not anticipate huge changes in the scheduling of sections but do anticipate tighter scheduling.
