WASL Week Reminders

Testing Times - Please know our testing times have been established both district and statewide. It is important that we begin on time and provide our students every opportunity to be successful on this assessment. Cathy has set up the schedule with designed break times. Please adhere to the schedule Cathy has put together. If you any quesitons please contact her. We will be around to touch bases with everyone each morning within the first hour of testing to collect attendance. Hopefully we can answer any quesitons that come up when we stop by.

Break Room - We have set up a break room in the Social Studies Office area. We will have something to snack on and drinks for staff there each morning. We are asking the students to not eat or drink in the testing area so we would ask you do bring food back to the classroom while you are proctoring the test.

Morning Meetings - We will be meeting each morning in the Library at 7:15 am to pick up testing materials and receive last minute instructions from Cathy. It is important that we all follow the exact same procedures for administering this assessment so please make arrangements to be in the Library by 7:15 each morning.

Homework for Sophomores - We want Sophomores to have every opportunity to be successful on this assessment as possible. Please make any arrangements or adjustments you need to so that Sophomores have a "lighter" work week when it comes to homework. We have asked parents to help by getting them bed and making sure they are getting breakfast. If you are teaching Sophomores, do what you can to adjust their evening schedule.
