Other News and Notes

Grades for this IPR - The second IPR of the school year is now open. The grading window opens Tuesday, 11/9.  Grades are due on Friday 11/12. For a grade to show up on this IPR it must have a due date of 11/9 or earlier. Please be sure to post grades in your classroom. The expectation is that we make contact with parents of failing students at this point. Grades will be available for parent to view on Monday, 11/15.


Veteran's Day Assembly - Our annual Veteran's Day assembly is scheduled for Wednesday, 11/10. The students have planned the assembly for about 10:30 am which is just after 2nd period. Students will be dismissed from 2nd period. Please remind students to leave their backpacks in their 2nd period classes as they will be returning to 2nd to pick up their things. Dismissal will be by announcement. 


Also please take a minute to discuss proper assembly behavior with your 2nd period class. This kind of assembly is different than a pep assembly and requires our students to behavior with a bit more restraint and class. Please remind them.


Faculty Meeting - We will be meeting as a faculty on Wednesday, 11/10.  We will be sharing out the results of our accreditation site visit. We will also be going over some required district training. Please plan on meeting in the library at 7:30 am on Wednesday.


Drama Presentation - Phantom of the Opera opens this Thursday at 7:00 pm. It is the first time they have released the rights to this productions. It is a must see. The whole crew has been doing a great job of putting things together for the show. Good seats are still available for some of the shows. Seating is reserved.
