News and Notes

IPR Window Opens - The IPR window for Third Quarter Opens this Friday, 4/9. All grades that are to be included in this IPR must be dated 4/9 or prior. Any assignment dated after 4/9 will not be included in this IPR. All grades must be entered by 3:00 pm on April 13. We will be sending a notification home to parents to check grades online the April 14th. Please remember to keep your grades up to date by posting them in your classroom at least every two weeks so that students can review their progress.

Learning Improvement Calendar (LIC) for April - Here is our proposed LIC for this month and use of our Wednesdays:

• Wednesday, 4/7 - Faculty Mtg. - Admin Directed
• Wednesday, 4/14 - Department Mtg., - Department Directed
• Wednesday, 4/21 - LIT Mtg for Portfolio Work, - LIT Directed
• Wednesday, 4/28 - Individual
  

We will be collecting portfolios on the 20th in our LINK classes. On Wednesday, 4/21 we will then be norming the portfolios and using that time to work through assessing the portfolios. As a result we will be asking to move the department work up one week. Let me know if that is an issue.

HSPE for Math and Science - The High School Proficiency Exam (HSPE) for Math and Science is schedule for the week of 4/12-16. The schedule looks this:
