Other News and Notes

Blood Drive - Our winter Blood Drive is scheduled for today. We sent a list out last week to all teachers. Students should be released by the schedule we sent you. If students do not show up, we will send runners to classrooms. Please help us by reviewing the list at the beginning of each hour.

Canned Food Drive - We are way behind on our Annual Holiday Canned Food Drive. Cans are being collected during first period. Please encourage your students to bring cans of food in to support our local families. The food drive ends next week.

Grading - Please review your grades. We need to post grades to TAC next week beginning on Monday, 12/15. This is the final progress report prior to the end of the first semester. As you review your grades be sure all grades are up dated and accurate. Any student who is failing at this reporting period needs a contact. Please plan on calling or emailing parents of failing students prior to winter break of all students who are failing your classes.

We will be printing progress reports for all students next week. They will be handed out in 6th period on Thursday, 12/18 if they are printed and ready. If for some reason there is a delay we will hand them out on Friday during 3rd period.

Holiday Celebrations - Please help us by keeping students in class these next two weeks. No students should be out of class without a pass. Also, please be aware of the district policies regarding holiday celebrations and decorations. Please just be sensitive to all students over these next couple of weeks. Use this opportunity as a time to celebrate and honor all cultures and students.

Winter Wishes Assembly - Our annual Winter Wishes Assembly is scheduled for next Friday, 12/19. We will be meeting in the gym in the afternoon. The assembly is shaping up to be an outstanding assembly.
