News and Notes
Grades Due - IPR #3 otherwise known as Progress Report number 2, is scheduled for this week. The IPR window opens Monday, 12/15 and will close on Thursday, 12/18 at 8:00 am. All grades need to be posted into Teacher Access Center by 8:00 am on Thursday. Any student earning less than a "C" will need a comment(s) as to how they can improve their grade or the reason their grade is low.
Progress reports will be printed and handed out on Friday during 2nd period.
This is the final progress report prior to the semester grade. It is important that we make contact with the parent or guardian of any student who is currently failing or in danger of failing your class at the semester.
Winter Wishes Assembly - Our annual Winter Wishes Assembly is scheduled for this Friday, 12/19. Students will report to their 6th period classes to drop off their bags and then be dismissed by announcement. The bell schedule will be sent out by email Monday or Tuesday. The assembly is shaping up to be an outstanding program and one you will not want to miss.
Food Outside the Cafeteria - We are starting to have issues with food outside the cafeteria. This includes rodent issues in the building. Please remind students that lunches are to be eaten in the cafeteria area. We have a lot of students and they do overflow into the areas around the Commons and Cafeteria but they should not be upstairs in hallways and stairwells eating lunch. Also, please put all food waste in the classroom garbage cans and not leave it laying around.
Building Hours over Winter Break - The building will be open over the break. Some of the days are vacation days so please check the alarm panel prior to entering the building.
