Other News and Notes

Semester Change - It's official! The last day of first semester has been changed to Tuesday, February 6, 2007. That day will be a half day for students and staff with dismissal at 10:45 am. The second half of the day is designed for staff to work on grades and prepare for second semester classes. Here are the new due dates for grades.

• Grades dues to Carrie 2/12 or sooner
• Report cards will be distributed to students on 2/16 during 6th period
  

Congratulations Cheryl Niemela - Cheryl was recently the recipient of a $600 Award from the local branch of the American Association of University Women. The award was used to purchase a new telescope for use in her astronomy class. Way to go Cheryl!

Winter Weather Alert - We are anticipating snow and some very cold temperatures this week. We will be updating the phone tree and our emergency contact cards. Please stop by Diane's desk today and verify your contact information. If you are new to RHS this term, please fill out an emergency contact card. Hopefully we will get word early on Wednesday about any delays or closures. We will use the phone tree to get information to you.
