Other News and Notes

Progress Reports - We will be completing progress for all students on Tuesday, 12/12. This is the last official progress report we do prior to semester grade reporting. With the semester grade being the transcipted grade, please take a litte extra care to complete the progress report for each and every student. Here is the process we have followed and will continue to do so this time:

1. First period teachers will hand out progress reports to each of their students. Please ask your students to complete the top portion of the progress report and fill in all their classes placing LINK last.
   
2. Teachers will complete progress reports for each of their students throughout the day. If you attach a printed copy of a progress report please write, "See Attached"
3. Students will complete this process by having their LINK advisor sign off at the end of the day.
4. LNK advisors will collect the Pink copy and send the top two copies home to be signed.
   
5. Students should return the signed yellow copy to their LINK advisor on Thursday, 12/14.
6. Please send completed progress reports to the Guidance and Career Center at the end of the day.

Winter Wishes Assembly - Our annual Winter Wishes Assembly is truly one of the best events we have at RHS. This year's assembly is scheduled for Friday, 12/15.(12:20 - 1:15 pm) We put out a bell schedule last week. The assembly is scheduled to be about an hour long and will begin after 5th period. Dismissal will be by announcement. Some groups will need to be dismissed early for setup. We will get emails to you about these early dismissals.

Please plan on attending the assembly with your students. As Debbie explained at the faculty meeting this assembly includes an incredible number of participants. It really is important that we are all there.

Staff Gathering - Stacy Jeffers is once again hosting the staff "get together". Please consider joining us at Stacy's house on Friday, 12/15, anytime after school. Diane has directions in the main office. Plan on bringing your favorite snack item.

Building hours for Winter Break - The building will be open throughout the winter break. Custodian will be working regular hours. The alarm will be set in the evenings so please check the building prior to enter in the morning if you plan on arriving early or if you plan on using the building late at night or on weekends.
