Other News and Notes
Progress Reports - We will be completing progress reports for all students this week on Tuesday, 10/10. We will move LINK to the end of the day so that LINK advisors can collect progress reports for all students. As we have in the past, please remove the pink copy of the Progress Report and return it to the Counseling Center. Students should take the top two copies of the Progess Report home and bring one copy back signed. LINK advisors are asked to collect one of these signed copies (Yellow Copy) and place it in their LINK folders.
Thursday's Professional Development Program - Our LID program scheduled for Thursday, 10/12, will begin in the morning at 7:30 am. We will be in the Library for our work throughout the day. We have a number of agenda items to deal with on Thursday. While we may not get to all of the items listed below it is important we look at the data that drives our decisions this year and the most pressing work ahead of us.
- Finish our discussion of what we believe are our standards and what really is important at RHS
- Finalize our norms and professional expectations for this upcoming year
- Students who have not yet met standard on the state assesment
- Alternative assessment options for students in our Junior classes
- Student Learning Plans for all students and the role staff will play this year
- Required staff training as a result of a complaint made to the Office of Civil Rights on behalf of a special education student
