Other News and Notes

Opening Assembly - We will conduct our annual "Welcome Back" Assembly on Thursday, 9/7. All students will be dismissed by intercom announcement. Juniors and Seniors will report directly to the gym and sophomores will report to the commons. As we have in past years, faculty and staff will meet in the foyer of the gym to form a "welcome tunnel" for new sophomores. Students will report to 3rd period following the assembly.

3rd Period Student Population Counts - We will be conducting our student population counts during 3rd period. For the first four days of school we need to count all of our students to determine our final student population and if any adjustments will be made to our staffing model. Please be sure to follow the printed instructions carefully and keep all students in class until the counts are complete.

Fair Day - Wednesday, 9/13 is fair day for the Puyallup School District. School will be dismissed at 10:45 am. Lunches will be available after dismissal. Students will meet with their LINK advisors throughout the morning. We will run three sessions for all LINKS on this day. One session will be a video presentation of our student handbook for both staff and students. Another session will be a class meeting. A final session will be for LINK advisors to work with their students to connect, or in most cases, reconnect to their LINK for this upcoming school year.
