Curriculum Fair - The curriculum fair is this week on Thursday, 3/2. We will begin with an opening session in the gym at 6:30 pm. After that, we will move to the commons area were everything will be set up for the evening. We will have sandwiches in the faculty room at about 5:30 pm for staff working the curriculum fair. I believe we have touched bases with every presenter and let you know where you are located in the commons. If you have any questions or have specific need for the curriculum fair please contact Collette.

Assembly - We have an assembly scheduled for today during 4th period. The schedule is developed such that everyone should have class, lunch, and attend the assembly. Please plan on attending the assembly with your classes. We have published a schedule. Please attend the assembly you are assigned to based on your lunch schedule. We have limited seating in the PAC and need to manage the numbers attending carefully.

The assembly today is our annual mid-year motivational assembly. In the past we have had speakers. This year we have a multimedia assembly designed to connect well with students and meet them where they are. Please let us know what you think.

Student Registration - We will begin to process of registering students for next year in LINK on Thursday, 3/2. Students will watch a video on the registration process and receive the follow:

  • Course of Study
  • Registration Form
  • Printed Instructions

We are asking all Junior and Sophomore LINK advisors will be going over all the materials and watching the video. Seniors will be going over culminmating project materials in LINK this Thursday.

Next week on Thursday, 3/9, students will be completing their registration materials. LINK advisors for Sophomores and Juniors will be reviewing and checking for completed forms. Finally, on Friday, 3/10, Tom Tripple will be meeting with all Sophomores in the PAC during their Biology class period to go over their completed registration materials. Juniors will be meeting with Bob DeJardin the week of March 13th during the WASL time. Please review the material sent out this past week.

WASL Update - Our regularly scheduled faculty meeting is scheduled for this week on Wednesday, 3/1. Cathy and Brian will be going over all the requirements and rules as they relate to our admnistration of the upcoming WASL. All staff will be required to sign off as having been informed of their responsibilities. This is an important meeting for both staff and the success of the adminstration of our state assessment. We will begin the meeting at 1:15 pm in the Library.
