Online Grading - Here is the latest on the progress of our online grading. We will be upload the latest and hopefully most accurate class lists today. I will pick the software up today. About 10 of you have "volunteered" to try the new system. If you bring your laptops tonight to the parent conference program I will upgrade your software. Once the software is upgraded the admin team will work with teachers to make the online grading happen. Stay tuned....
Please know that moving to this is really simply allowing us to "post" grades online. Thsi step allows us to move away from bubble sheets and send grades to Carrie electronically. We still are unable to move away from written progress reports as our grades will not be available over the internet at this time.
Parent Conferences - Our parent conference program is scheduled for Tuesday, 11/15. We will have dinner for the faculty at 5:00 pm in the Faculty Room. Parents will begin arriving at 6:00 pm. We will have student schedules ready and sorted by LINK teachers. After getting schedules, the parents will then meet with the child's academic teacher.
Brian has done a great job putting together materials for this program. Please review what has been handed out. We will be setting up on Tuesday afternoon at about 2:30. Plan on not plugging your computer in and running off of battery power as we will not have enough outlets for everyone. We do not anticapte everyone handing out printed progress reports as quarter report cards will come out next week.
Soup Day - Our 4th Annual Admin Soup Winter Soup Luncheon is scheduled for this Friday, 11/18. The menu is all homemade soups. Ben is stepping up to the plate and take over where Mario left off. He is prepare the always popular, Oscar Ramen. You figure out what might be in it! Plan on joining us this Friday during all lunches in the Library.
