Other News and Notes

Final IPR Due - All grades are due on Tuesday, 5/17  at 8:00 am for the final IPR. This is the final notice to parents prior to the end of the semester. Since the semester grade is the one we place on the transcript. It is critical to have student grades up-to-date and accurate. Please review grades with your students by the end of the week. As we have in the past, we are asking teacher to make contact with parents of any student who is failing or in jeopardy of failing at the semester. This needs to me a personal contact with a response from the parent. We, in the past, have accepted email or phone calls. We will be mailing a letter to the homes of any student currently failing one or more classes. 

Progress reports will be distributed to all students on Wednesday, 5/18.

Culminating Project - Sr. Boards - We will be having seniors present their culminating project to faculty and community members on Thursday and Friday, 5/19 and 20. All students will be dismissed at 10:45 am each day. Lunch will be provided for staff and visiting judges in the commons around 11:00 am (Probably closer to 11:15 am). 

A couple reminders:

1. Please continue to help push your last students through their practice speeches. Preparation for their final boards is the key to having a successful Senior Boards. Send the names of all students who have passed to Pam.
2. Please send Pam  the name of any student you really are struggling with based on their culminating project. If there are students you have not seen or who have not followed up and you can not get a hold of, please contact Pam or get her their name.
3. Thursday and Friday we will be hosting boards in most of our rooms. Please take some time to put your room in order for boards.
