Other News and Notes
DAW Begins this Week - We will begin Assessing several of our students using the Developmentally Appropriate WASL (DAW) this week. The DAW begins on Wednesday, 11/1, and will continue through Thursday, 11/9. We will be sending a list of students taking the Assessment to all teachers each day of the Assessment. For most students the Assessment will last throughout the morning. In some cases students may stay and work into the afternoon periods. This assessment is just the same WASL students taking in the spring but students are allowed to take the assessment at their developmental level. Here is our request; Please excuse those students taking the DAW for all regular classroom work and homework assignments.
Faculty Meeting - Our regular monthly faculty meeting is scheduled for this Wednesday, 11/1. We will be meeting in the Library at 1:20 pm. There are 5 Wednesdays this month. However, the fourth Wednesday is early release for Thanksgiving Break. As a result, we will use the following schedule for our LID calendar.
