Other News and Notes

Student Led Conferences - Our student led conferences are scheduled for this Thursday, 3/24. This is a rescheduled event from February when we were snowed out. We anticipate conferences beginning at 2:30 and concluding at about 6:30 or 7:00 pm. Some of you may have complete all or some of your conferences already. If not, please use this Thursday to do so. Please review the following reminders:

1. These are student-led conferences. Please simply facilitate the conference and allow students to lead the discussion. 
2. Groups conferences are acceptable if students are prepared. Please take the time to introduce yourself to parents as they enter or leave the conference. 
3. Please keep track of all conferences and send a list of completed conferences to Rick Cox by Friday, 3/25. 
4. Students can complete a conference using a caring adult other than their parent. Staff members may stand in for parents as requested by students.
5. Please take the time clean up your room a bit if necessary. If you need chair or any furniture for conferencing please let Scott Harrison know by Wednesday.

Master Schedule and Department Schedules - We will be coming to you on either Tuesday or Wednesday of this week seeking input as to your department requests for teaching assignments for next year. We have a short timeline for turn around. If you would please work with your departments and get the information back to us Thursday, 3/24. We need to get the simple tally with teaching assignments down to HR by Friday. Please return all completed department schedules to Kim in the main office.
