Other News and Notes
Faculty Lunch - The Admin team will be hosting a lunch in the faculty room on Tuesday, 5/29. The purpose of our getting together is to simply treat the faculty to a well deserved lunch and to provide a bit of encouragement as we head into this week. Our goal is to host a weekly lunch for faculty for the remainder of the school year. Please stop by and join us for lunch on Tuesday.
Sr. Boards Briefing- We would like to meet with the faculty on both Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Please wait until after students have dropped off their portfolios in your rooms. We would like to go over just a couple of reminders for all faculty as we head into each day of Senior Boards. Please plan on being in the Library on Wednesday and Thursday at 11:15 am each day for a short staffing prior to going to lunch in the commons.
Sr. Boards Reminders-As we head into Senior Boards this week please remember to touch bases one last time with Pam if there are any corrections to the published list of presentations and their assigned rooms. If you are a head judge, please remember to familiarize yourself with your packet of information. There are several items on the check list for head judges we want to make sure we get done. Finally, please remember this is designed for students to exhibit their best effort.
As we are the last school in the rotation of Senior Boards there really is very little time for make up. Those students who do not meet standard one their assigned presentation date will be given first opportunity to make up their speeches. We also have a number of students scheduled for next week who have chosen to do an "Honors at Exit" presentation. With all this in mind, we will have little or no time for making up presentations for students who miss their assigned time this Wednesday and Thursday. Please remind your seniors how important it is to be here for their assigned presentation this week.
